Ladies and Gentlemen – Please rise and give a warm welcome to the 1st PNG Diabetes Clinical Practice Guidelines!

To all PNG doctors, nurses, and all health-workers – It should go without saying that standardised medical practice is one of the most important principle of providing an efficient, effective and economical healthcare to our population.  The O&G Red Book and The Paediatric Blue Book are BRILLIANT examples  .  Now let us welcome and embrace the 1st PNG Diabetes Clinical Practice Guidelines.  Please pick up a copy at the National Department of Health, from Dr. Ipai at PMGH, or if you are in other provinces ask your hospital management people to provide this important document to guide you management of your diabetic patients.
